Easter Basket

Easter is just around around the corner and here is a cute basket you can use to collect an egg or two or put your Easter candy in.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 2 Pieces of colored card stock, 8 1/2" X 11"
  • Ribbon
  • Hole Punch
  • Scissors
  • Rubber Stamps
  • Crayons
Print out the pattern at
www.runnerduck.com/images/kc_basket_pattern.gif for the basket and
www.runnerduck.com/images/kc_basket_handle.gif and trace them onto your colored card stock.
Cut out the patterns.
Fold up the four sides of the basket and punch a hole near the top of each corner.
Punch two holes in the ends of each handle, one above the other.
Punch two matching holes on each side of the basket for the handle.
Use ribbon to tie the ends up together and the handle onto the sides.
If you want you can decorate the basket with crayons or stamps. It's best to do this before you fold it up.

Easter Basket

Now go our there and find some eggs or candy. These baskets also make nice gifts if you fill them with plastic grass and candy or toys.
